War After the Wars

My name is Taz, and I served during a few combat rotations and was involved in a covert operation. I’m currently producing a documentary that tells the real stories of combat veterans — not just what happened downrange, but what happened after. This is about the internal wars fought after the wars overseas.  It’s also about the wars that civilians fight against vets and their lack of respect for many servicemen who risked their lives.    How many vets are neglected, the high suicide rate, and how we are often blindsided by our countrymen whom we were willing to risk our lives to protect.

This project will focus on the toughest battle many of us face: coming home. Adjusting to civilian life after our ETS can feel like stepping into a whole new world. I want to illuminate that experience—raw, unfiltered, and from those who’ve lived it.
